This waistcoat is knitted using a modular knitting technique. The garment is started at the centre back. The upper back section is knitted first, then continued down the right front and around to join the lower back to the upper back. The yarn is rejoined to work the left front and lower back. The garment edges are finished with I-cord.
The waistcoat is knitted in Lang Mille Colouri, a yarn that changes gradually from one colour to the next. The fibre content of the yarn is 50% wool, 50% acrylic. There are approximately 92 meters to a ball and the garment is knitted in garter stitch with 5mm needles.
